Leah was first introduced to Pilates in the late 90’s through her study of classical ballet. During those years and continuing through her time as a dance major at the University of Utah, she was able to personally observe the importance of Pilates in creating a stable, balanced body.
As an instructor, Leah loves helping people connect with their bodies, exploring how movement can not only heal, but also bring joy. She enjoys teaching technical, alignment based classes that foster a strong mind/body integration.
Her formal Pilates training was done through Fluid Motion on Maui, and includes the Stott Reformer, Cadillac, and Barrels trainings. She has also completed the Stott Injuries and Special Populations training, as well as her 200 hour yoga training, Barre certification, and NASM CPT with a focus on Senior Fitness.

As a Full certified STOTT PILATES® instructor, Sheila specializes in Rehabilitation, Pre/Post-Natal, Athletic Conditioning, and Group Matwork. With over 17 years of experience, she has helped countless individuals, from elite athletes to those recovering from injuries.
Inspired by her own journey of overcoming chronic pain and scoliosis, Sheila sought additional modalities to enhance her practice. She is certified in the Melt Method® and Fascianator Method®, both of which focus on myofascial release techniques.
Sheila's detail-oriented approach ensures that group classes are inclusive and effective. She has a talent for breaking down complex exercises into simple, achievable steps, empowering clients to progress toward their fitness goals.

She has dedicated the last year to her Balanced Body instructor course and is excited to share the strengthening, stabilizing, stretching benefits of reformer Pilates with her students.
